I just purchaed KD 200 series and now after reading all the comments, I am bumming out. It hasn't been delivered yet so I'm going to call tomorrow to see if I can reconsider getting another brand. Now because I got it during the President's Day Event, the price for matresses will go up tomorrow. Anyways, I'm torn and not sure what to do. I think I need to make an immediate decision before delivery.

Clearly, and beyond a doubt a HUGE amount of 'reviewers' are bitch slapping each other. Most likely people who work for / distribute mattresses. It is not normal to see this many reviews about .... a mattress??? 'Cmon now.
I just bought a Kingsdown Beethoven box/mattress and it is being delivered tomorrow. It has an unconditional warranty and if it does develop a hump in the center or holes it will be replaced. I bought it from a reputable mattress store, and paid extra for the guarantee. I will let you know the 'truth' about this mattress in the coming weeks. Who am I ? Well to 'prove' to you I'm just a regular guy, you can read about and see a photo of myself here:

Good luck to you all..

I originally purchased a king size Kingsdown Heather Brooke, the top of the line, in 2003 from Mattress Giant on clearance at 50% off the list price of $4600.00. Within 3 years the side-by-side body depressions were so deep it was like sleeping in a hammock. My wife and I had to "climb the hill" in the middle of the bed to be close. We filed a warranty claim and within 10 days after the inspector came out to look, take measurements and pictures, we got a letter to take back to the retailer for a free replacement. We got the 2006 top model carried by the retailer, the Rennaisance. Within 4 years we had the exact same issue and went through the same warranty process with Kingsdown and the retailer. Both companies were very cooperative and there were no hassles in getting the second replacement, a Tranquility, the top model carried by Mattreess Giant in 2010. I would really have preferred to get another brand bed as these just do not hold up. But the warranty starts over at 20 years every time you get a replacement. How can you pass up free and go out and spend a couple of grand for another bed? I am 150lb. and my wife is 110lb. Larger people must have issues much sooner. My advice: If you haven't bought a Kingsdown yet, DON'T!
