Symbol Mattress - Seeking Its Chance

While looking for mattresses, three factors that come to minds of buyers are its quality, price and the level of comfort it provides. Everybody wants the most comfortable and best quality material at the lowest possible price. Usually, it’s not possible to have this three-in-one. But Symbol mattresses is trying to offer all the three. These mattresses are comfortable, and due to manufacturing process - they are quite affordable, especially when compared to other similar mattresses.

Generally, a low priced item is considered to have poor quality that can’t be relied upon, but that’s not so in the case of Symbol mattresses. And the reason is not the use of inferior materials. They are available at affordable prices as the manufacturer employs in-house manufacturing processes for producing all the accessories required for making of mattresses. These accessories include coils, springs, frames and even processing of foam padding. It’s not difficult to understand economics of manufacturing here. If the manufacturer buys the required accessories from others, the cost of manufacturing goes up, as all the suppliers would certainly add their profit before offering goods to the other manufacturer. Apart from bringing down the price for reasons explained, Symbol manages to have better control over quality of materials that it produces itself.

Well, some of the mattresses offered by Symbol do not fall in the category of luxury or top of the line products, but they do offer a better level of comfort than regular mattresses at very affordable prices. Every consumer can’t afford to be lavish in spending for a fully loaded bed, but Symbol is manufacturing great mattresses that have many features of those expensive beds at a fraction of their prices.

It’s true that most mattress reviews boil down to favor those products, which are at high end, and luxurious with all of the modern features or those with the basic spring system and the comfort of a pillow top or memory foam.

Two types of mattresses that constantly draw vast reviews are made from natural latex and memory foam.

The Symbol latex mattress is undoubtedly the best among all the beds falling in its price range. They are made from totally natural and hypo-allergenic materials, and encompass the body, while conforming to your natural sleeping postures giving you the most comfortable sleep you could ask for. This material provides better support to your body than other bed materials, and relieves you of aches and pains that are usually caused by sleeping on other bed surfaces.

Comfortec mattress provides excellent support to the neck, back and other joints. It employs innovative memory foam that characteristically conforms to the body contours and evenly distributes the body weight across the bed. It factually memorizes your body shape, true to its name!

Here's a video I found on Youtube. If you have some time, check it out. You'll hear some interesting information!

Symbol mattresses come with a large range of features, but one feature common to all is the affordable price. Weather you are looking for high end luxury bedding or a child's bed or even desiring to have reasonable degree of comfort on a budget, Symbol surely has a mattress to offer for all your needs.

Symbol is one of those relatively unknown mattresses that can actually compete with the vastly overrated brands today. But based from recent reports, Symbol is gaining more attention lately as people are beginning to seek possible mattress alternatives. When looking for a new mattress, you would want to concentrate on comfort and durability. Once you have figured out which mattress company produces durable mattresses, you can select a good mattress from them.

I agree with Zach, Symbol is just as good as any of the other high-end mattress products. You don't need to empty your wallet to be able to get good bedding.

We bought a Symbol Mattress in Decemeber 2009, the mattress came with a 12 month comfort warranty along with the 10/15 yr warranty for the mattress. This is a Signature Series mattress by Symbol. In the beginning it was the most comfortable mattress we had slept on, but 6 months after getting this mattress it started breaking down. The pillow top flattening, indentions in the mattress to where when my husband and I got in bed we rolled to the middle. The mattress sides are bulging out. We filled out aour warranty papers 4 months ago, took pictures, made phone calls, emails etc. neither the place we bought the mattress nor the manufacturer has honored our warranty. We are to the point of seeking Legal help. We paid good money for what was supposed to be a Superb Mattress, not the case with this mattress. I suggest not buying a Symbol Mattress, they don't back their warranty.

We love our comfort plus memory foam we got from Symbol. So far (knocks on wood) it is holding up well at 6 months owned and used every night. We do rotate it every couple of weeks though when I change the sheets since it cannot be flipped. It was far less expensive than an equivalent Tempurpedic and was actually more comfortable when we were trying them out in store (for the same firmness level).

Bought a Bamboo Dream set 3 years ago. Was great for 6 months and then broke down. Replaced with a second mattress that was great for 6 months and then broke down. Within the past year, have had two subsequent replacements. The last one began sagging in the middle after one week! Symbol is now trying to avoid honoring their warranty. Avoid this company!

We are a Symbol retail dealer. We love and sell tons of their mattresses tomany satisfied customers. Although quality is not usually an issue, every once in a while we have a warantee issue. We have NEVER had a problem with Symbol honoring a warranty issue EVER. It sounds like some of these are legitimate warranty claims, and although the mattress warranty is from the manufacturer not the retailer, the store you purchased your mattress at should be able to assist you to reslove the problems. I am suggesting that is is not necessarily Symbol but infact the retail store you purchased from and their lack of concern. Find a new store!

We bought a Symbol Comfortec a couple years ago and within the first year had big indents where my husband and I sleep. It was so bad we stuffed towels under the indents and brought them back up to be where they're supposed to be. One year later and we've got the same indents despite the towels underneath. Diamond Furniture has honored the warranty and gave us the credit towards a new mattress but unfortunately they do not sell any name brands (Sealy, Serta, etc.) Now I'm trying to decide whether I should give Symbol another chance, but after reading reviews of people who had the same problems I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't.

I have a symbol / comfortec king set we bought 3 yrs ago. It is a pillow top that has turned in to a lumpy, misproportioned, bulging, and unsupporting piece of junk. The mattress despite all the advertising that they have more coils that any one is like jello now and it is supported on the correct type of frame. There is metal sticking out of the box springs also..We are normal sized people and there should not be any reason for this bed to be doing this. We will see how they honor the warranty.

I bought a new chiro-bilt symbol set 9 months ago to replace my 13 year old symbol pedic set. I slept well on my old set for 11.5 years, and realized after staying in a hotel that my set had lost it's support. The chiro-bilt is the only 2 sided mattress that they make, so I didn't have a lot of options (I refuse to pay twice the amount for a mattress that lasts less than 2 years). I am happy to report that it is still going strong, my husband and I sleep well, no back pain, and flipping it is not a problem for us, knowing it may well last us another 12 years. As far as I am concerned, all those name-brand mattress companies can shove their $1500 sets that only last 2 years at most and I will be sleeping like a log on my $700 set.

I bought a Symbol bed 9 years ago and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Not only did it hold up to 2 adults but also 3 dogs as well. I had family stay who said it was the most comfortable bed they had slept in as well. After 9 years though it got a big sag. It had a 10 year warranty and the store I bought it from replaced it no questions asked. The new bed is even more comfortable. I will also say that when they replaced it we notice that 3 of our support legs on the frame had been broken off. So that is probably what caused the sag.
